Celine was born different; her hips are dislocated, causing her legs to resemble a pair of scissors.
Doctors initially believed she wouldn’t live past three years due to her condition, arthrogryposis, which limits the range of motion in multiple joints. Despite the challenges, Celine is now seven years old.
Her parents, facing financial struggles, persevered to afford her medical needs. They faced rejection from 11 schools before finally finding one that welcomed Celine.
Celine’s mother recalls the difficulties they faced, from the initial shock of Celine’s condition to the ongoing challenges of medical appointments and financial strain.
However, Celine’s determination and her parents’ unwavering support enabled her to attend school.
Despite her disability, Celine excels academically and dreams of becoming a doctor to help other disabled children, inspired by the care and kindness shown to her by her teachers and classmates.
The family has set up a GoFundMe campaign to seek help for Celine’s medical treatment.
