Baby Trang was having fun with her family when she suddenly fainted. When arriving at the hospital, the relative collapsed when receiving the results of hematopoietic system cancer (lymphoblastic leukemia). Currently, little Trang is in danger when her family’s situation is very difficult.
We want to mention the situation of little Nguyen Tran Huyen Trang (born 2014, living in Xuyen An village, Duc Xuyen commune, Krong No district, Dak Nong province). Currently, the baby is being treated at the Oncology Department, Hue Central Hospital for malignant leukemia.
Ms. Tran Thi Co (Trang’s mother) called Tien Phong newspaper with a choked voice asking for help. “I don’t want to bother anyone, but because of the love of a mother sitting and watching her child breathe weakly, I really can’t bear it. I want to save my poor daughter’s life, but my family is really in a difficult time right now and I really need everyone’s love. Please save my child,” Ms. Co said.
Baby Trang’s health is very weak
The woman said in long sobs: “In the 12th lunar month of 2019, little Trang was having fun with her family when she suddenly fainted. Everyone took the baby to the hospital, and then the results came out that he had leukemia. At that time, the family did not completely believe it, so they went to many places to check but all had the same result. Initially, the baby was treated at a hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, but due to difficult family circumstances and not enough to pay the costs, the baby was transferred to Hue Central Hospital. When I learned that the baby had a serious illness, I felt like I had lost my soul. Every time I looked at the baby’s face, I cried.”
Ms. Co added that the couple does not have a stable job, whoever hires them does what they do, so the family’s finances are not enough, just enough to eat. Life is almost like eating every day, if you don’t work, you’ll be hungry. Therefore, when their daughter got sick, she and her husband had to borrow money to pay for their child’s medicine. The situation of relatives on both paternal and maternal sides was also difficult, so they only supported her with loans within their ability.
Every time she took the medicine, Trang fainted from the pain
Ms. Co said: “To have money to treat the baby, the couple had to take turns being the baby’s caregiver at the hospital. The couple went to work but felt like lifeless people, their heads kept thinking about the baby who was writhing in pain. Now, the motivation for husband and wife to work is to save their child’s life.”
